I knew I'd be getting an earful from all my friends sooner or later so here's the post. According to a report from Sports Illustrated, Alex Rodriguez tested positive for steroids in 2003 while playing for the Texas Rangers and winning the AL MVP and home run title.
Well, good thing in 2003 there were no penalties for steroid use. Now its 2009 and he's on the Yankees and there are no records saying he's used steroids anytime during 2004 or after and thats when penalties started for failed drug tests. He's still going to be the HR King when it's all said and done and I don't think this matters one bit. Lets take away all the homers he hit in '03 and I bet he still breaks Bonds' record.
