If He Wins, Who Gets Ledger's Academy Award?

If Heath Ledger wins an Oscar for best supporting actor on sunday, Ledgers 3 year-old daughter, Matilda will get the award but it won't really be hers until she is 18 years old and even then she still has to sign a contract. The award usually would go to a spouse but Heath was never married so it goes to the oldest child, Matilda is his only child. When she turns 18 she can choose to keep the award forever or it'll go back to the academy.
