Steph Plays, C's Win
Marbury had eight points in 13 minutes and the Celtics beat the Pacers 104-99. The fans roared for Starbury when he came in to play the last 15 seconds of the first quarter and again when he scored his first basket in his new Celtics green. Didn't look like there were any chemistry issues to me, looks like the Knicks' GM should be getting a ring this year to for handing the 'ship over to the Celts. Lets get it!
Rondo had a career high 17 assists and Ray-Ray went off for a game-high 30 points.

Pruitt Arrested
Pruitt was pulled over around 3AM in the Hollywood area last night. Sources say that Gabe Pruitt failed a field sobriety test and was well over the legal limit for blood alcohol level.
The Price Is Right
Jim Calhoun gets his 800th career win as the Huskies defeat Marquette 93-82. A.J. Price poured in a career-high 36 points including eight 3's for UConn. Thabeet chipped in with 14 points, 15 rebounds and five blocks. Calhoun is ranked seventh in Divison 1 men's career wins, leading the way is Bob Knight with 902. With this win and a Pitt loss last night, it looks like UConn can take back the #1 spot in the polls. Seems like no one wants to be number one, no team has kept the spot for longer than three weeks since North Carolina had it from the start of the season through December 29th.

Fans Boo, A-Rod Homers
On a 2-2 pitch in the fourth inning Alex Rodriguez blasted a tow-run homer and the fans responded with a standing ovation. The Yankees won 6-1 over the Blue Jays. When asked his opinion on the fans A-Rod said "I thought they were okay. I'd like to invite some of them to Fenway this year".
Joe Girardi set his starting rotation, with CC Sabathia to throw the opener against Baltimore on April 6th, followed by Chien-Ming Wang, A.J. Burnett, Andy Pettitte and Joba Chamberlain.

Marbury Committed to Celtics
NBA sources say once Marbury clears waivers that he is committed to signing with the defending champion Boston Celtics. Marbury has career averages of 19.7ppg and 7.8apg in 12 NBA seasons with four different teams (MINN, NJN, PHO & NYK).
The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus
Heath Ledger's last film is waiting for a deal for U.S. release. The production of "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" was completely shut down after Ledger's death early last year. It was unknown if the movie would ever get finished until Jude Law, Colin Farrell, and Johnny Depp stepped in. The actors played three different parts of Ledger's role and saved the production. The movie already has a deal for Mandate International to release it in the United Kingdom sometime this summer. It is expected that the movie will get a deal with a mini-major or large indie company sometime soon in the U.S. "This movie stars Heath Ledger in his final performance -- it will get a deal and come out in the U.S.," said one indie film veteran. "But it's no accident that it's taking this long."
Trilly & Truly x Nike Air Force 1 Pack
Lupe Fiasco's Trilly & Truly teamed up with Nike to come out with a pack of Air Force 1's, one being black and one white. No word on a release date so far.
Together Again?
The New York Knickerbockers and Stephon Marbury have reached a buyout agreement. Marbury will forfeit about $2 million of his $20.8 million salary and then get roughly have of that back from the Celtics if he signs. I think this is a good move to get Starbury to back-up Rondo, Gabe isn't quite ready and House isn't your prototypical point guard. He can give the C's more scoring in their second unit and he's a playmaker. If the experiment doesn't work out, no big deal, the Celtics can simply cut him. NBA sources say a number of Celtics have reached out to Marbury this week.
High School Girl Dunks... Hard
The 6'8 center out of Nimitz High School in Huston is signed to play with Baylor next year. It might not be that hard but it sure as hell ain't no Lisa Leslie shit. Brittney Griner is averaging 27 points, 12 rebounds, 8 block, 3 steals and 2 assists per game in her senior season. Her career highs include a 41-point outing, a 22-rebound performance and an amazing 25 blocks in a single game.

The 7-footer cleared waivers this morning and is expected to sign with the Boston Celtics tomorrow. Danny Ainge had no comments today but NBA sources say Moore will choose the C's over a number of other teams.

The Life & Times Of Buddy W.
Ahem...
For those of you who don't know, Jordan attended UNH his freshman year of college. One night his cousin, whom is an alum and former AZD sorority sister, came to visit. Jordan met up with her at the sorority house and started off the night drinking some beers. Then they took off to a house party where Jordan didn't know anyone so decided to drink the house beers to excess. Three AM rolls around and they start making their way back to the sorority for the night. Jordan didn't want to risk of getting arrested venturing back to his dorm because of the state he was in. So, they get back and go into the kitchen where someone suggests mac n cheese, Buddy loving that idea had a bowl of mac n cheese and swallowed each piece whole. Next Jordan lays down on the couch to goto sleep and instantly blacks out. The next morning Jordan wakes up at 8am covered in mac n cheese, which he had thrown up, and starts searching for his cousin, who is already getting cleaning supplies when he finds her. Jordan then does a very poor job cleaning up and takes off for his second class because he's already missed the first one. He successfully makes it to the second one (without any books or supplies) but unfortunately could not stay awake and put this head down on his desk for the whole class. It just so happens this was Buddy's smallest class with only about 15 students, so I'm guessing everyone got the picture that he had a rough night.

LupE.N.D.
Fiasco announced at a Chicago concert late in 2008 that his next and most likely final album will be a triple album and that the first disc "Everywhere" would come out in June 2009. The trio was going to be named LupE.N.D. On January 30, 2009, Lupe Fiasco announced that LupE.N.D. will be postponed indefinitely. Instead, he will release three albums; The Great American Rap Album in June 2009, two following albums in December 2009 and June 2010, with LupE.N.D. following afterward.

This is off this first mixtape entitled "Finally Famous". His second mixtape "Finally Famous Vol. 2" is expected to come out soon. Kanye just seems to have a nack for finding good young talent.

Two future superstars hop on a track together, beat feels kinda futuristic. I don't go out searching for all this Kid Cudi, I just seem to always stumble across something involving him every time I go on my computer. I'm not complaining at all, I'm just saying.

Great song now getting the visual it deserves, and it's a pretty dope video. The stoner anthem type song is half animated and gives the video a drugged out vibe to it. This man is on the cusp of super stardom, the album will probably put him over the top. The sky is the limit for this young artist, hopefully more collaborations with Kanye are in the near future.
Skipping To Orlando
The Magic fill the point guard void after Jameer Nelson's shoulder injury by acquiring Rafer Alston aka "Skip to my Lou" in a 3-team deal. Orlando sends Brain Cook to the Grizzlies and Memphis sends Kyle Lowry to the Rockets. The Grizzlies also pick a future first round draft pick from the Magic which will help build their young core.

Kanye always has great music videos, always different and creative. This one is so dope, although "Welcome to Heartbreak" is not the next single, "Amazing" is. Love how Cudi is in this one too. Ye is always talking about how he likes art and that's what this video is, a great piece of art.

Reunited & It Feels So Good
Who woulda thunk it? Kyle called it before the game even started and it actually happened. Kobe & Shaq got Co-MVP's of the NBA All-Star Game. Kobe scored 27 points had four assists, steals and rebounds and Shaq had 17 points and five boards as the West cruised to a 146-119 victory. Chris Paul had 14 points 14 assists and seven rebounds for the West and LeBron scored 20 and Pierce and Wade chipped in 18 apiece for the East.

The Life & Time Of Buddy W.
This is an epic story that you might have heard once or twice in your travels but it's too good not to post.
Buddy is living it up one night at Holy Cross with not a care in the world. The snow covers the ground outside like giant white blanket, but Jordan chooses to wear sandals anyway. Inside Jordan is chugging cups of Southern Comfort in his attempt to consume more alcohol then a high school senior. Where some might say this is Jordan's downfall I simply say he was making Harwich proud. Now Buddy and friends are on their way to a house party off campus and things start to get a little violent. Jordan pushes Jared off a fence post he was sitting on, and a beer that was in JWil's pocket explodes over his expensive cellphone. Jordan can tell he was in the wrong and in an attempt to apologize to Jared he rips the Polo sweater he was wearing. Jared still complains about that sweater being ripped to this day, but thats neither here nor there. Still walking to the party, Jordan starts getting a bit messy yelling obsentaties to large black males and making bathroom breaks in the bushes. Now everyone taking care of Jordan decides he is too much of a nuisance to bring anywhere and try making their way back home. This is when Buddy turns up the heat. Now Jordan is fighting anyone and everyone that gets in his way including his girlfriend Amanda. Nathan and Sean have Jordan pinned up against a fence and take some free body shots to his mid-section then throw him in a car to get him back to the dorm. At this point Jordan is dead weight and a football player has to carry him inside. He picks up Buddy to put him over his shoulder and in that moment Jordan's rather large nantucket red pants fall to his ankles along with his boxers. Buddy is now finally in bed but everyone knows the morning doesn't look promising after Jordan's wild night. He awakes next morning and is throwing up highlighter yellow bile on the way home. Now if thats not a story he'll tell his children and grandchildren I don't know what is.

Krypto-Nate
Nate Robinson takes the dunk contest basically with this dunk you see above. Personally I think Superman was robbed, but thats just me. The 12 foot rim dunk was crazzzzyy, shoulda put it higher! Howard can do all the dunks little Nate did but Nate can't do any of Howard's, come on fans, you picked the wrong dunker! LeBron said he'll be in it next year but idk about that.
